2015 Napa Valley Brut Rosé - Stråla Vineyards

Delicate strawberry, hibiscus, raspberry essence. Fresh peaches & cream, cherry blossom, watermelon rind. Sweet brioche and subtle yeast, pink lady apple and pleasant sandy minerality. Pretty and dainty with excellent acidity and tiny textured bubbles. Tastes like a ritzy country club brunch spread prepared with only the finest fruits and pastries. This 2015 Napa Valley Brut Rosé by Stråla Vineyards is deliciously elegant Napa bubbly.

The Napa Valley is Cabernet country and rightfully so, but every once in a while you'll taste something else from the region that just works. This Brut Rosé, comprised of 70% Chardonnay and 30% Pinot Noir all grown inside the Napa Valley, is absolutely delightful. Soft, mineral, and without a sharp edge to be found, this Méthode Champenoise sparkler is a terroir driven beauty exhibiting only the cleanest and most nuanced fruit. While still distinctly Napa this wine manages to retain the profile of a much cooler region. Stråla Vineyards has really knocked this one out of the park. This stuff absolutely stands up to any other domestic sparkling wine you will find.
