Candied lime, crushed rock, golden kiwi. Underripe mango, white sage, tart grapefruit. A surprisingly complex and textured fruit core gushing with passion fruit, lemon zest, and yellow pear writhes with highly intriguing and energetic character within a vibrant and marvelously layered display. Notes of broken concrete, sea spray, and stony minerality generously provide captivating earthy undertones while subtle floral hints of elderflower and baby's-breath impart gentle aromatic lift. Impressions of spearmint and cucumber reveal a thread of clean herbal charm while a delicate pinch of cinnamon presents just a touch of pleasant spice. This generously spills a medley of diverse and delicious citrus, tropical, and orchard fruits enhanced by gorgeous stony minerality, soft florals, and wonderfully minty herbal tones. A third of this wine was allowed to ferment to dryness on its skins which has endowed it with incredible textural complexity while still allowing for the natural brightness of the variety to shine, and the outcome here is unquestionably outstanding.
