Grown widely throughout France perhaps most notably in Bordeaux and the Loire Valley, Cabernet Franc is an intriguing and adaptable grape that can be shaped into an astoundingly diverse array of wine styles. This bottling, crafted by Luna Hart Wines using Cabernet Franc sourced from the Honeybear Orchard Vineyard in Santa Barbara County, is a bright and attractive example of a leaner and lighter style of this variety. Although quite delicate and approachable this wine playfully radiates beautiful berry-driven fruitiness contrasted against plenty of Cab Franc's textbook green herbal qualities. While young and spirited this is perfectly ready to open and enjoy right away, although it has the structure to hold well for 3-5 years. Yummy.
