While there are many producers making great wine here Liquid Farm has emerged as a perennial tour de force. This bottling, crafted from 100% Pinot Noir sourced from the prestigious Radian Vineyard on the far southwestern edge of the appellation, is a truly remarkable achievement. It is heady and intense with extreme understated power and drive, yet it sits at barely 13.0% ABV. This stuff is reminiscent of brilliant cru Burgundy from a storied producer in a warm vintage - in that it carries itself proudly and broadly while still retaining elegance and sophistication beyond its weight. A touch of salinity reminds you of its coastal origins while expressive yet tense red berry fruit sets off like fireworks on the bouquet.
