This bottling, crafted by Kanpai Wines using Cabernet Sauvignon sourced from the Meadowbrook Farm Vineyard in Napa's Oak Knoll District, showcases rarely seen subtly and finesse from a variety most appreciated for its power and might. Although this wine possesses a persistent streak of wonderfully pretty fruit and floral notes it is its clean mineral underpinnings that cement its impact and charm. It remains well balanced and fresh on the palate without coming across as the least bit overripe or hot; simply implying that this was definitely not an afterthought byproduct of saignée. Outstanding.
