2021 “Boeket” Sauvignon Blanc - Cox Vineyards

Squeezed lime, acacia flower, tart green grapes. Grapefruit pith, crushed pine needle, crunchy white nectarine. Gorgeously vibrant and energetic waves of passion fruit, lemon zest, and Granny Smith apple highlight a bright and delightfully expressive fruit core that is crisp and delicate while still possessing excellent depth. A range of fresh garden herbs including mint, sage, and thyme playfully impart intriguing herbal character that flutters alongside pretty floral tones of elderflower, echinacea, and honeysuckle. Notes of river stones and gravely earth contribute layers of captivating minerality before fading into a long honeyed finish. Tremendously clean, pure, and electric on the palate while oozing plenty of tart and refreshing bite; exhibiting a fruit-driven yet fresh presentation that is extremely approachable and delicious. Medium bodied and brimming with elevated acidity. This 2021 "Boeket" Sauvignon Blanc by Cox Vineyards is a whimsical and well balanced white from Mendocino County.
