This bottling, crafted by Cox Vineyards using Sauvignon Blanc grown in their organic estate vineyards in Mendocino County, is an excellent example of a bright yet bold expression of this noble and legendary grape. This pulses with a crisp citrus-led fruit profile that possesses nice weight to match its intensity, and its herbal, floral, and earthy charms add wonderful layers of fresh complexity. This is drinking splendidly already and is likely best enjoyed in its youth, but it should hold well in bottle for at least few years without issue. Yum.
