Brick Barn Wine Estate is located on what once was a prestigious Arabian Horse breeding facility. Situated just outside the town center of Buellton and only about 2 miles east of the Santa Rita Hills AVA, Brick Barn sits in an interesting and largely untapped microclimate in the Santa Ynez Valley of Santa Barbara. The first vines on this property were planted in 2012 and the plantings are varied and highly experimental. They have Pinot Noir, Grenache, Vermentino, Chardonnay, Albariño and more all planted on the same estate! Despite the newness of the project and the ultra young vines they are already putting out some exquisite wines as noted here by this Cab Franc. While already enjoyable now, these guys have amazing potential and will be putting out some NEXT LEVEL wines very soon. Plus, their literal 'Brick Barn' tasting room and production facility is one of the prettiest buildings we've ever been inside. Check them out!
